Grant Awards

CMF, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), announced in July of 2024 it awarded $24.2 million to date through the CMF/DNR Spark Grant program to 29 Michigan communities whose economic opportunities and public health were hardest hit by COVID-19.

Grant funds will be used to create, renovate or redevelop community informed public recreation opportunities in each of the following communities:
